Be YOUNG and have FUN!

Family Fun

Thanks to Jenna, I can blog again!  I was having trouble posting pictures, but since I switched web browsers we are good as new!  Woo hoo!
We have welcomed in the new year with family camp outs, movies, and sledding!  January has not slowed us down!  As you can see, Micaiah decided one night to sleep with her hard hat on! The girls were not ready to go back to school. They were still in camp out mode and decided on a school night to make their own camp out on the floor with a very inventive campfire!  They are always up to something!  :)  How I LOVE being their Mom.  XOXOXO

Micaiah's note says "We can bild it!  WORK!

The tube did not work as well.

But the rope helped a lot!

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.  1 Timothy 4:12

The girls received Precious Moments Bibles from Baba and Papa

Baba's favorite tradition!  Reading The Night Before Christmas always makes her giggle!

Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Life has slowed down a little since Christmas has pasted, allowing me to blog for the month of December!   I will catch up with the time soon.

We had a beautiful and magical Christmas.  We got to spend time with Baba and Papa which lifted everyone spirits!  Dad was a real trooper traveling cross country after major back surgery to see his girls.  We are all so thankful that they got to come!  We all had a joyous time with Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and friends.

Christmas Eve was delightful!  We went to church candle light service, the girls got to open their presents from Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and one from Mom and Dad, after dinner we tucked everyone in with a bedtime story "The Night Before Christmas".  Baba's favorite family tradition that tickles her funny bone!

Christmas morning was a CELEBRATION!   Jesus is the reason for the season!  The girls woke up estatic about presents under the tree!  Eric and I surprised the girls BIG time this year with a land and sea package  to Disneyworld and a cruise to the Bahamas!  Each gift came with a riddle they had to solve for their trip.  It was so fun to watch and plan!  After a thrilling morning of presents we celebrated with a Disney Breakfast.

We all enjoyed spending time with each other playing games, visiting over coffee, watching movies and football, singing and playing the piano, and of course laughing is always heard in the background.  I love our family and I am so thankful for the time we share with each other.  Let's CHEERS to family!  ; ) haha

(Sorry, no pictures right now the blog will not allow me to upload?)
